Thick plate oxy-cutting is our core business. For almost 40 years, we have been constantly evolving in both the management of internal processes that allow us to guarantee our customers fast delivery times, and in the use of high-performance machinery and our qualified personnel to provide customized cuts up to 650 millimeters in thickness.

Sheet metal oxycutting

Oxyfuel cutting is a method of cutting with a flame of propane gas and oxygen at high pressure, which can be used only with carbon steels and derivatives. At Sidertaglio Lamiere, thanks to our machinery and know-how, we process sheet metal from 6 to 650 mm, tools and experience that enable us to achieve precise, high-quality cuts.

At Sidertaglio Lamiere, for processing thick sheet metal, we have BEVEL and DRILL technologies that operate efficiently and integrated within the machine. This ensures optimized production, reducing processing time and costs.

Performing machinery

Our company has 30 years of experience in the industrial sheet metal cutting industry with automatic numerically controlled (CNC) pantographs, we are able to make cuts on steel sheets from 3 mm to 650 mm for most of the materials on the market.

It is a material suitable to withstand wear and tear from impact and / or rubbing, with higher hardness compared to traditional construction steels. It is easy to machine, good weldability, simple oxy-cutting, good cold bending capacity. This steel allows the finished products to support the heaviest stresses in the most difficult situations, optimizing the life of the product and considerably reducing the breakage risk. We also have possibilities for alternative qualities from the best European steel mills.

This material is mainly used for the chemical, petrochemical and oil industries and for construction of: heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators, superheaters, boilers. The materials are available with double EN and ASME/ASTM certifications with thickness up to 250mm from stock or thicker on request.
